Laura Evans is more than a photographer. "I am stay at home mother to a beautiful almost 3 year old, a military wife to a wonderful husband & a photographer" she says.
"Photography is part of who I am, i firmly believe it comes from inside. My work gives others the chance to view the world as i do, through emotions & colors as well as the obvious. I believe our work changes & grows as we do. Our work represents our mood as much as that of a painter. To get to where I am now has been a long journey that's taken me in different directions but ultimately i have always returned to photography. I got my first "real" camera at 17 & fell in love with the dark room, which i miss hugely. Since then I have been lucky enough to get my degree, photograph the paralympic games & run a successful portrait business. In 2012 after 5 years living in Germany we moved back to England & i decided to focus on fine art, my first photographic love.", Laura continues.
She hopes that in the future she will be able to grow what she already has, build a solid business, sell her work & see it displayed around the world. Currently she is working on shooting portraits using the various optics & building on her portrait experience that way. Teaching is something she would also love to do to people who love photography, who want to learn, discover & explore everything it has to offer, she epxlains.
